Greetings in pursuit of academic excellence!!

We, the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) 2-2 students from the
Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Parañaque City Campus, are pleased to submit
our accomplishment report on the recent Final Defense for our Business Proposal on our
subject in Web Design for Business as part of the academic requirements for our course. The
event was held last January 31, 2025, from 1:00 pm. to 6:00 pm. in the Office Simulation
Room 403 on our campus.

The seminar is designed to equip students and aims to develop practical skills in designing
professional and user-friendly business websites. It also seeks to apply web design principles
that align with current business trends, enhance creativity and technical proficiency in web
development tools, integrate effective digital communication strategies, and prepare students for
real-world applications of web design in business settings.

In this report, you will find a summary of the event, and our learning outcomes. We are grateful
for the opportunity to carry out this meaningful activity, and we look forward to your review of our

INTRODUCTION
The seminar, "A Digital Future: Web Design for Business Success and
Innovation," held at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Parañaque City
Campus, was a valuable learning experience aimed at enhancing students’ skills in web
design for business applications. Organized by the Bachelor of Science in Office
Administration (BSOA) 2-2 students, the event was conducted as part of their academic
requirements on January 31, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Office Simulation
Room 403. The seminar provided insightful discussions and hands-on activities to help
students develop professional, user-friendly business websites while integrating modern
design principles and digital communication strategies.

With a strong focus on creativity, technical proficiency, and industry-relevant web


development tools, the seminar served as an interactive platform for students to refine
their skills in crafting effective digital solutions. Attendees participated in engaging
sessions covering essential aspects such as user experience (UX) design, search
engine optimization (SEO), and responsive web development, all crucial in today’s
technology-driven business landscape. The collaborative environment encouraged
students to apply their knowledge, share ideas, and develop innovative approaches to
web design.

"A Digital Future: Web Design for Business Success and Innovation" underscored
the university’s commitment to bridging academic learning with industry demands by
fostering technical expertise and adaptability. By emphasizing digital innovation and
business-oriented web solutions, the seminar helped students prepare for the evolving
digital landscape, ensuring they are equipped to create impactful and functional
business websites.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the officials of the Polytechnic University of the
Philippines - Parañaque City Campus for their continued support and we would also like
to express our sincere appreciation to our Subject Adviser, Prof. Dr. Sheryl R. Morales,
for her guidance, and to the BSOA 2-2 whose dedication and hard work.

II.​ Event Title

This event is all about the Final Defense for our subject, Web Design for Business.

III.​ Description

This activity is designed to equip students with practical skills in web design by focusing
on the creation of professional and user-friendly business websites. The seminar will
explore the integration of current web design principles with modern business trends,
enhancing students' creativity and technical proficiency in web development tools. It will
also emphasize the role of digital communication strategies in website design, preparing
students for real-world applications in business settings. By participating in this activity,
students will gain valuable insights into designing websites that are not only functional
but also aligned with industry standards and user expectations.

This activity aims to develop practical skills in designing professional and user-friendly
business websites. It also seeks to apply web design principles that align with current
business trends, enhance creativity and technical proficiency in web development tools,
integrate effective digital communication strategies, and prepare students for real-world
applications of web design in business settings.

IV.​ Proponents

This activity is organized by the second-year Bachelor of Science in Office


Administration BSOA 2-2 students.

V.​ Rationale

In today’s digital age, the ability to design a functional and visually appealing business
website is a crucial skill for any professional. As businesses continue to transition to
online platforms, the demand for web designers who can create websites that align with
business trends and enhance user experience is growing. This activity will bridge the
gap between theoretical learning and real-world applications by providing students with
the tools, knowledge, and skills necessary to succeed in the ever-evolving field of web
design. It will also prepare students for careers where digital communication strategies
are integral to business success.

VI.​ Objectives

●​ To develop practical skills in designing professional and user-friendly business websites.


●​ To apply web design principles that align with current business trends and industry
standards.
●​ To enhance creativity and technical proficiency in web development tools such as HTML,
CSS, and JavaScript.
●​ To integrate effective digital communication strategies in web design, ensuring websites
meet both business goals and user needs.
