Instructions for the Mac User

Prior to installing this software make sure you have Adobe® Reader® installed on your
machine. If you do not, it can be downloaded for free from www.adobe.com. Once you have verified
you have Adobe® Reader®:

1. Create a file folder on your machine. Example:title_24.


2. Copy all the files (excluding the Adobe folder) in the Mac® folder from the CD in the folder that
you have just created.
3. From the newly created folder open the Welcome.pdf file and start working with your files.
Adobe® Reader® Bookmarks (Navigation Pane)

When installing this CD on a system running under Windows® 95, it is possible that when linking to
a pdf file using Adobe® Reader® that the file will not automatically open with Bookmarks showing.
Should this happen, with the file open and displayed, click on the Show/hide Navigation Pane icon
on the Tool Bar. The Bookmarks will then be displayed on the left side of the screen.

Search
The version of Adobe® Reader® included with this CD-ROM contains a full-text search capability. To
access this full-text index, click on Edit, Search, Query or click on the binoculars/page icon. (Note:
Hyperlinks are indicated by your cursor changing to a hand.)

Click OK and proceed with the search.
