Phraseologies for waitering

Waiter: Good morning / afternoon/ evening madam / sir, welcome to CVP Restaurant! May I
suggest a table for you! This way please

Guest: Thank you

Waiter: Will this table be alright for you madam / sir?

Guest: Yes No problem

Waiter: Excuse me madam / sir, may I lay your table napkin?

Guest: sure and thanks

Waiter: Your ice-cold water ma’am / sir. I am Eden your food server for the day and it’s my
pleasure to serve you.”

Guest : Nice meeting you Eden!

Waiter: Ma’am / Sir, this is your freshly baked bread”

Guest: Thank you

Waiter: Ma’am / sir, I would like to present to you our menu for your selection. I will take your

Waiter: Sir/mam your food will be serve after 30 minutes, would that be okay to you?

Guest: Yes no problem it’s okay


Waiter: Okay sir may I have the menu card now.

Waiter: Excuse me sir/ mam, may I lay the additional table appointments?

Guest: Okay

Waiter: Sir here is your appetizer the chilli sweet sour shrimp salad

sir/ mam how do you find the food?

Guest Very sumptuous
