Quiz 1 2024 W Solution - PDF Version 1

The document outlines calculations for the design strengths of various built-up tension members made from different steel sections, including C300 x 44.7 and W 16x67, using NSCP 2015 LRFD guidelines. It details the determination of live loads that can be carried based on yield and rupture stresses, as well as shear stresses of bolts. Additionally, it provides specific properties of the steel sections and the resulting calculations for maximum live loads in each case.
