positive rail.
4. place the fourth 330-ohm resistor on the breadboard, connecting I29 to the
positive rail.
Step 3: add the 4 LED lights to the breadboard. To set up the 4 resistors in
breadboard, follow these steps:
1. place the positive pin of the first LED in G9 and the To negative pin in G10.
2. place the positive pin of the second LED in G16 and the negative pin in
G17.
3. place the positive pin of the third LED in G23 and the negative pin in
G24.
4. place the positive pin of the fourth LED in G31 and the negative pin in
G32.
Step 4: add the 4 jumper wires. To set up the 4 resistors in breadboard, follow these
steps:
1. place the first jumper wire in G8.
2. place the second jumper wire in G14.
3. place the third jumper wire in G22.
4. place the fourth jumper wire in G30.
Note: these jumper wires can be of any color, and they will help connect various
parts of the circuit to each other as needed for your setup.
Step 5: add 4 fixed-size jumper wires to the breadboard. To set up the 4 resistors
in breadboard, follow these steps:
1. the first jumper wire from F10 to the negative rail on the breadboard.
2. Place the second jumper wire from F14 to the negative rail.
3. Place the third jumper wire from F24 to the negative rail.
4. Place the fourth jumper wire from F32 to the negative rail.
Step 6: add the active buzzer and jumper wire. To set up the 4 resistors in
breadboard, follow these steps:
Step 8: Finally, to test your circuit, first place the ground of the battery at the bottom
of the container, ensuring it is securely connected as the reference point for the
circuit. Next, carefully arrange and place the wires by level in the container, ensuring
they follow the correct layout you’ve prepared on the breadboard. Finally, fill the
container with water up to the desired level, which could be part of a sensor or
another testing mechanism in your setup. This process will help ensure everything is
properly connected and functioning as intended for your test.

Context
In our water level indication project, we aimed to design and build a functional
water level indicator using a breadboard and electronic components. The goal was to
create a system that effectively detects water levels and provides an alert. To
achieve this, I took the initiative to find ways to start the project, ensuring that we had
a clear plan for assembling the circuit.
Experience
Throughout the project, I actively taught my groupmates about the different
components, their purposes, and functions. I explained why each part was
necessary and how they worked together to make the circuit function properly. As we
built the water level indicator, I demonstrated the correct way to connect the
components on the breadboard, ensuring that my groupmates understood its usage
and layout.
In addition, I took part in troubleshooting any errors in the circuit, guiding the team
through the adjustments needed to make it work. Finally, I took responsibility for the
final editing of our content paper, focusing on the procedure to ensure it was clear,
accurate, and easy to follow.
Reflection
This experience taught me valuable skills, including leadership, teamwork,
and technical problem-solving. Teaching my groupmates helped me solidify my own
understanding of electronics, while troubleshooting issues strengthened my patience
and attention to detail. I realized the importance of communication and collaboration
in successfully completing a technical project.
Application
Moving forward, the knowledge and skills I gained from this project will be
beneficial in future engineering and technology-related tasks. My experience with
breadboards, circuit assembly, and documentation will help me in more advanced
projects, especially those that involve problem-solving and innovation. Additionally,
this project reinforced my passion for developing solutions that address real-world
challenges.
Experience
As I think back on the water level indicator project, I've learned it help me
learn about sensors and also, I learned how to connect everything and make sure it
all worked together, and also the resistor has different number of voltages. The
battery we used there isn’t that high voltage.
Reflection
It was fun to see it work. I also struggled during my testing because it’s hard
for me to name those wires and other equipment’s and how those works together,
but still by the help of our leader we slowly understand how it works and what are the
names of those equipment’s and functions, this can also challenge our critical
thinking.
Application
This experience helps me to understand how positive and negative charge
connected. In the end, the experience strengthened the real-world implementation of
abstract ideas and improves our real-world problem solving.
RATIONALE:
Water is an essential resource in daily life, industry, and agriculture. Managing
water levels effectively is crucial to prevent shortages, overflows, and unnecessary
waste. Traditional methods of checking water levels, such as manual inspection, are
time-consuming, prone to errors, and impractical for large or remote areas. A water
level indicator provides a more efficient solution by offering continuous and accurate
monitoring of water levels.
Using a water level indicator helps prevent problems like overfilling, which can
cause spills and equipment damage, or underfilling, which can lead to water
shortages. Whether using a simple float switch or an advanced sensor system, this
technology ensures that water levels remain within safe and optimal limits. By
automating the process, it reduces the need for constant human supervision and
minimizes the chances of human error.
Another key benefit of a water level indicator is its ability to be monitored
remotely. This feature allows users to check water levels from anywhere, making it
more convenient and reducing labor costs. Automated control systems can also be
integrated to turn pumps on or off as needed, improving overall efficiency and
resource management. This not only saves time but also prevents unnecessary
energy consumption and equipment wear.
