Methodology :
Chalk and talk method, Activity method( by using demonstration and experimental method), laboratory
method. Demonstration method .
Activities( to be conducted in class room or physics laboratory)
Method of activities= by using demonstration and experimental method
1. use of vernier caliper ( to measure the radius of small spherical bob)
2. use of screw gauge( to measure the thickness of wire)
3. to make paper scale of least count. Eg. 0.2 cm, 0.5 cm
4. Collect the examples related to speed and velocity
5. Find out the average speed for your school van during your journey from home to school
6. Draw a velocity time and position graph for any vehicle which you used regularly at your home

Life Skills :
1. students will be able to know the importance of measurement in physics as well as in daily life
2. they will learn to remove the error in measurement.
3. students will be able to know the relation between speed and velocity and acceleration and their role in
daily life
4. they will learn to relate concepts of this chapter to their daily life activities.

1. Team-Spirit– Durig activities in class room and physics lab, they will hep each other, share ideas and their
knowledge to get result of activity.

2.Decision making and problem solving- By solving numericals they can enhance their decision making and
problem solving power. also during activity and lab work they will independent to take decisions.

3.Analytical and Research Skill–They will capable of quickly analyzing a situation, topic and problem, and often
work well in team setting to accomplish goals.

After performing activities and lab work they will relate their observation with theory. this will enhance analytical
and research skill.

Review &Remediation :
Students will face the problem to solve numerical problems
The problem can be solved by regular practice under the guidance of teacher.

Home Assignment :
They will solve the ncert exercise and numericals.
They will solve the extra questions and numericals daily given by teacher at end of period
They will solve the assignment (worksheet) given by teacher at the end of chapter
