Creating Your CGFNS

Account
Step #1: Setting up Your Username
• 1. Click or Copy and Paste This Link: https://start.cgfns.org/
• 2. Next, Click ”Applicants” as shown below.
3. Next, click “Create an Account
“ as shown below. 5. Once you provide your email, it will ask to
confirm it. Type your email address again
and then click “Send Code”. As shown
below.

4. Next, provide your email address as shown


below.
6. Next, the verification link
will be sent to your email. Go
to your email (example
shown to the right), and copy
the security code.

7. Next, click on the link


above the code. Click on that
link! Note that the link will
expire in 30 minutes.

8. Next, paste the


security code and click
“verify code”, as shown to
the right.
9. Next, Please Choose “Applicant” as shown below!

You may now move on to Step 2: Creating your CGFNS Portal.


Step #2: Creating Your CGFNS Portal

1. First, fill out your


information. It is very
important that you do type
your name correctly and in the
correct format. An example
can be found to the right!

2. Next, please select “No” for


the question: “Do you have a
CGFNS ID number?” as
shown to the right.
3. Next, please fill out your
Passport and Education
information, as shown to the
right.

4. Next, tick the “I accept”


box and click submit, as
shown to the right.
Step #3: Security Questions

1. First, Fill in the security


questions.

Important: Only choose from the


following questions:
• What is the street name where
You lived as a child?
• What is the first name of your
childhood best friend?
• What is your mother’s birthday
(MMDD)?
• What is your father’s birthday
(MMDD)?
2. Next, DO NOT create your own password.

The Password should be: Interstaff1?

Congratulations! You may now move on to the next lesson to create your CGFNS Profile! If
