Perseverance, Inspiration & Motivation have always played a key role in the success of any
venture .At this level of understanding it is difficult to understand the wide spectrum of knowledge
without proper guidance and advice, hence we take this to express our sincere gratitude to our
respected Project Trainer Mr.S.S,Salunkhe who as a guide evolved an interest in us to work and select
an entirely new idea for project work. He has been keenly co-operative and helpful to us in sorting out
all the difficulties.
We would also like to thank our Principal Dr. R. A. Deshmukh and Mr.S.D.Bavache for their
continuous advice and support. I would also thank my Institution and my faculty members
without whom this project would have been a distant reality.

Introduction

PURPOSE :
 To reduce the human effort by use the pull and push the wheel chair and reduce the cost of the
automatic wheel chair whit help of the this project
SCOPE :
 Wheelchair available at market is very expensive everyone cannot be afford but the
help of this project everyone buy the self-operated wheelchair

FEATURES :

It is less costly self-controlling wheelchair

2
Abstract

 Wheelchairs have been used for transporting patients as well as disabled for quite a long time.
 Wheelchairs are driven by manual efforts. The disabled drive wheelchairs by their hands while
another person is required to push patients wheelchair.
 Here we propose a simple attachable extension that can be attached to a wheelchair and can
transform wheelchairs into E wheelchairs that require no manual efforts
 To reduce the human effort by use the pull and push the wheel chair and reduce the cost of the
automatic wheel chair whit help of the this project

 PARTS USED IN PROJECT

 High Power DC Motor

 Chain

 Sprockets

 Wheel Hub

 Bearing

 Supporting Frame & Handle

 Clamps & Joints

 Screws & Bolts

 speed controller for motor

 Battery

 Wire

7
HIGH POWER DC MOTOR

DC motors are electrical machines that convert electrical energy into mechanical
energy. They work by using the interaction between a magnetic field and an electric current to
create torque

 Advantages
DC motors have a wide range of speed regulation, strong overload capability, and small
electromagnetic interference.

 Disadvantages
DC motors have a relatively short life expectancy and high maintenance cost due to the
sliding contact between the commutation and the brush

8
CHAIN

 A chain is a series of connected links, usually made of metal, that can be flexible
or rigid. Chains can be used for many purposes, such as support, restraint,
transmitting power, or measurement. They can also be worn as an ornament or
insignia.
 Chain is used to transmit the rotary motion from motor to wheel
 Chain is connected to the wheel and motor
 Information chains are a way to acquire, process, and distribute content in a
similar way to physical goods in supply chains. However, demand does not
deplete inventories in information chains

9
SPROCKETS

 Sprockets are highly specialized parts that are fabricated to precisely fit with specific chains
and handle specific loads. They need to meet tight specifications regarding factors such as
size, dimensions, diameter, teeth width, and depth
 Sprockets are used in the project either to transmit rotary motion between motor and wheel
are unsuitable or to impart linear motion

WHEEL

• Wheels are a key component of the wheel and axle, a simple machine that allows heavy
objects to be moved easily. Wheels are used in many machines, including potter's wheels,
lathes, windlasses, and vehicles
• This wheels are used to move the Wheelchair
• The motor are connected to wheel with help of chain
• The wheels are in the circular shape

BEARING

 Bearings are mechanical parts that support and help rotate shafts in
machines. They are used in a variety of machines, including automobiles,
airplanes, electric generators, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, and air-
conditioners.

 Bearing are used to the rotate the shaft smoothly

 In this project bearing are used to rotate the wheel Handel properly

SUPPORTING FRAME & HANDLE

 This metal frame are made from the circular shape pipe

 This frame are used for support wheelchair

1
1
CLAMPS & JOINTS

 A type of joint that can be used to modify or rehabilitate historical steel structures, or to
reinforce them with new beams. Clamp joints are a good option when drilling or welding on
the original structure is not required
 Clamp and joints are used to joint supporting frame & handle
 Connect the frame and wheelchair

1
2
SCREWS & BOLTS

 The bolt's threads mate with the nut's internal threads to create a bolt joint. The nut prevents
axial movement, while the bolt's shank presses the joint against shear forces.
 Screws & bolts are use to joint the Frame & Handel and wheelchair
 Connect the wheelchair and Frame and Handel

1
3
SPEED CONTROLLER FOR MOTOR

 The ESC uses a switch system and direct current from the battery to create an alternating
three-phase current for the motor. The ESC translates the user's throttle input into changes
in speed by controlling the voltage of the supply power.

 It is used to control the speed of motor and wheelchair

Content

 Chapter 1 :
 In past scenario all committee members had to go for event announcements and
manual fee collection which is a very time consuming and tedious process.
 It is also very difficult to manage past data because manually document some time lost.
 So on order to give best service to client, it is important to manage Events data properly.
 To overcome limitations of paperwork we have developed android application to
manage Data and more.

 Chapter 2 :
 To overcome previous problem, we should manage Events taken in college and data of
the clients properly.
 So that the problem of lost the existing records, editing, security issues, announcing the
events etc. will be solved.
 To manage the Events taken in college we are going to use Smart Event.

 Chapter 3 :
 From the above project we have demonstrated more efficient way of managing
Events and participants data securely.
 As well as we have seen the past scenario in which we were not able to manage Events
data and participants details efficiently. To overcome that, we saw the solution to manage
it.
 We have seen the system configuration to run our android application.

1
5
Conclusion

The Smart Event app revolutionizes traditional event management by offering a convenient and
efficient platform for both students and administrators. By centralizing event information, enabling
online bookings ,and automating payment collection, the app significantly saves time and effort
compared to manual methods.
The elimination of physical event announcements and manual fee collection streamlines the processes
for both organizers and participants. Additionally the app maintains a comprehensive database of event
participants, providing valuable insights for future planning and analysis.
