ICT222: Digital Computer Design
Learning Outcomes:
After successful completion of this course;
Students should be familiar with working principle of sequential and
combinational circuits
Students should know how to use K-map to minimize circuits using POS or
SOP
Students should be able to design simple workable circuits.
Students should be able to use VHDL to design circuits
Students would appreciate how computer systems are designed and
manufactured in the industrial environments

Sequential Circuits
o flip-flops,
o counters,
o Frequency dividers
o timers
o Registers, etc.
o Carry-look-ahead adders, ALUs.
