7 Steps To Configure MFA For OWA 1
7 Steps To Configure MFA For OWA 1
The Identity and Access Management team within the Cyber Security Office offered the following
account protection techniques in response to the difficulties associated with form-based account
login (password and email) on OWA.
This will protect your account and any other web-based services we implement in the upcoming
update.
This practice is identical to Gmail and Office 365 MFA enrollment.
Enrolling in MFA is required before using the ET SSO (Single Sign On) portal, as the SSO
portal requires Multi Factor Authentication.
To do it, take the actions listed below (for both ANDROID (left-side) and iOS (right-side)):
1. First download the NetIQ Advanced Authenticator app to your phone and install it.
Once installed open the app and set your pin for the application
3. After successful signin to the mfa page, you will get the below screern, here under Add
Authenticator press on the TOTP icon
4. After you clik the TOTP icon you will get the below screen.
5. Here you should go to your netiq advanced authenticator (mfa app you downloaded
earlier) and scan this QR Code.
Scan it from the NetIQ Authenticator app by clicking the plus(+) buttun from the app.
When finished click save from the webpage.
6. Once you get the TOTP on your mobile go to mfa page and click the save button
7. After you click the save button you will see the TOTP method under Enrolled
Auththenticators.
Here you will insert the code (TOTP code) from your NetIQ mobile authenticator and click
Next.
If successful, you will see ET SSO portal page that looks like this.
