E6 Lesson 1 5th Grade Review #1

Use the following gestures while giving directions:


“Please Repeat” =Point to yourself while saying something, then gesture the student to say it again.
“Please Read”= Show the text on your screen and use your mouse cursor to show where you can
bring your hand up to your mouth to imitate speaking.
When you have the student use a pen on the screen, go back to the folder where this teaching guide is on Google Drive
and use "How to use the Zoom."
Please praise the student a lot when he/she follows your instruction properly.
Lesson Goal : The student can introduce himself/herself through a simple conversation.
For the most part, this can be the student’s first encounter with English communication.
Please speak slowly and be patient!

Learn New Words (5min) In this section, the student learns new words and phrases. Make sure that he/she gets comfortable with each
word and phrase.

Points to check 1. The student can repeat after the teacher.


2. The student can read the sentence on his/her own.

Procedure Teacher's Talk & Qs

1)Point to each of the words slowly and read them slowly. Can you see this?
