Job Description:
As an Android and iOS Developer at QuGates Technologies, you will be part of a dynamic team
that designs, develops, and maintains innovative mobile applications. This role offers an exciting
opportunity to work on multiple app projects, including enterprise solutions and consumer-focused
platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and excellent user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
App Development:
 Design and develop advanced mobile applications for Android/iOS platforms.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
 Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
 Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
 Work on app lifecycle management, including design, build, deployment, testing, and
support.
 Integrate backend services (REST APIs, third-party libraries, cloud services) into mobile
apps.
Innovation & Improvement:
 Explore and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
 Work on continuous improvement of app performance and UX/UI elements.
 Participate in regular code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
Collaboration:
 Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create smooth, visually appealing, and user-friendly
apps.
 Work closely with the product team to understand the product vision and ensure its
alignment with mobile app solutions.
 Work in agile development teams, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to
roadmap planning.
Testing & Maintenance:
 Develop unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for app modules.
 Debug and resolve app performance issues.
 Monitor, analyze, and improve app performance and usability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
For Junior Level:
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
 Familiarity with Android Studio or Xcode and app development for Android/iOS.
 Basic understanding of Java/Kotlin for Android development or Swift/Objective-C for iOS
development.
 Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
 Basic understanding of mobile design principles and UI/UX best practices.
 Enthusiasm for coding, problem-solving, and learning new technologies.
For Mid-Level:
 Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in Android and/or iOS app
development.
 Strong expertise in Java/Kotlin for Android development and/or Swift/Objective-C for iOS
development.
 Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud-based services integration.
 Solid understanding of Android SDK and/or iOS SDK, frameworks, and build processes.
 Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications.
 Familiarity with Firebase, Google Play Services, App Store, or equivalent cloud services.
 Experience in version control systems such as Git.
Preferred Skills:
 Experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
 Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
 Familiarity with mobile application security best practices.
 Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and debugging.
 Experience in publishing applications on Google Play Store/App Store.
 Familiarity with React Native or other cross-platform technologies.
 Knowledge of machine learning or AI-driven mobile applications is a plus.
