INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS OF GRADE X AND XII
APPEARING IN BOARD EXAMS

READ INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN THE ADMIT CARD THOROUGHLY AND CHECK THE DATE SHEET

1. The Centre for the Exam is POLICE MODERN SCHOOL, POLICE LINE, HARSAUN, GHAZIABAD.
2. Reporting Time at the Centre is between 09.00 am – 09.45 am AS STUDENTS SHOULD BE SEATED 30 MIN BFEORE THE
COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM.
3. The last entry in the examination centre is 10.00 AM. NO CANDIDATE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE EXAM
CENTRE AFTER 10AM AND NO REEXAM WILL BE CONDUCTED IF YOU MISS THE PAPER.
4. Carry your own pen, pencil and use only blueblack or royal blue ink/ball point/gel pen. Keep all stationery items in a
transparent pouch.
5. CARRY ADMIT CARD, SCHOOL ID CARD , STATIONERY IN TRANSPARENT POUCH AND TRANSPARENT WATER
BOTTLE.
6. WEAR PROPER REGULAR WINTER SCHOOL UNIFORM WITH BELT, TIE AND BLACK SHOES AS ENTRY WILL NOT BE
ALLOWED AT THE CENTRE IF STUDENT IS NOT IN PROPER UNIFORM.
7. CHILD SHOULD NOT CARRY any prohibited or barred items like MOBILE, DIGITAL WATCH, BLUETOOTH, EAR PHONE,
CALCULATOR, GADGETS OR ANY PAPER ETC WHICH CAN BE USED AS UNFAIR MEANS AS THIS IS A PUNISHABLE
OFFENCE AND CAN DEBAR THEM FROM APPEARING IN EXAMINATION.
8.MUST SIT AT THE ALLLOTTED SEAT / ROLL NUMBER ONLY AS PER THE SEATING PLAN DISPLAYED AT THE CENTRE.
9.Student is not allowed to leave the examination before the end of the exam.
10. Must maintain proper decorum inside the examination hall and not try to talk or indulge in any unfair practice.
11. Read question paper carefully and follow the guidelines and also fill the details on the answer sheet as per the
instructions given.
12. Count the pages of Main & Supplementary Answer Books and match the serial to ensure completeness of the answer
scripts. In case of any discrepancy, the same to be brought to the knowledge of invigilator and you must get the answer
book replaced.
13.Before beginning the paper , the child should write on the title sheet of her answer book the subject and question
paper code . Must write the roll number in the space provided and nowhere else in the answer book. Must write the roll
number on the question paper as soon as it is received by him/her.
14.Roll no and serial number should also be written on the supplementary answer sheet if used
15.Answers shall be written on both sides of the answer book given to the student. No student shall tear out any leaf
from the answer book. The student shall not ask for supplementary answer sheet till the main answer book/the earlier
supplementary answer book is filled.
16. If a student writes his/her Roll No. or puts any special mark in any part of the answer book or drawing sheet,graph,
map etc other than the space provided for the purpose, she/he will render herself/himself liable to have her/his paper
cancelled.
17. Prior information to be given to the class teacher about conveyance of the child during examinations i.e whether the
child will avail school bus or commute privately. Any child availing the school conveyance should avail it on both the
sides.
