Semester: Spring-2021 Reg no. 20pts00850
Level: B.Ed. (1.5 years)

Teacher name : Khalil Zafar

Subject : Science
Class : 6th
Topic : Photosynthesis
Number of students : 25
Duration : 5 minute
Date : 5th August 2021

1. Objectives:
At the end of this lesson students will be able to:
i. Know the process of photosynthesis
ii. Know about the importance of photosynthesis
iii. Know how this process happens
iv. Know how water supports this process

2. Teaching Method:
 Lecturing Method
 Demonstrating Method
 Inquiry Method

3. AV-Aids:
AV-Aids which I will use are:
 Flower-pot
 Bulb
4. Previous Knowledge:

I will ask question about environment and its components to know

about this topic and ask them about the different gases present in the air
For example:
i. Which type of gas plants use day time?
ii. Where the air is present?
iii. What is chlorophyll?

5. Announcement of the Topic:

Today we’ll study about the “Process of Photosynthesis”.

6. Presentation:

I’ll explain the process of photosynthesis. How is this process start? With the help
of diagram I’ll explain this process.

Plants make their food in the presence of

Sunlight and Chlorophyll with the help of
Carbon dioxide and water.
So the process can be written in the form of
Equation.

Sunlight
Carbon dioxide + water Glucose + oxygen
Chlorophyll
7. Recapitulation:

i. Define photosynthesis?
ii. What is the equation for this process?
iii. What is the function of chlorophyll?
iv. What is the importance of this process in our daily life?
