Geek Room is one of the emergent technical


communities in Delhi with an already established
chapter in numerous colleges. We aim to foster a culture
of innovation and creativity in the field of computer
science.

Conceived in the year 2023, Geek Room has made its


presence felt by guiding curious students in competitions,
projects, hackathons and various different technical fields.

As we continue to expand our frontiers, we wish to


establish a chapter in the prestigious Institute. We
believe that this collaboration can prove to be fruitful for
both students and the institute by cultivating intrigue
amongst students regarding the never ending future that
technology can unleash.

Through workshops, hackathons and collaborative


projects, students will have practical opportunities to
enhance their coding skills and problem-solving abilities.
The society will also facilitate connections with industry
professionals, bridging the gap between academia and
real-world applications.

We at Geek Room believe that technology is the light


that can guide us through the oblivion of ignorance. And
to share that glimmer, we seek your permission to
establish a chapter in your prestigious institute.

"Our technology society presents a curated selection of seven


standard departments encompassing both technical and non-
technical domains. However, customization options are available
to tailor the offerings to the specific needs and preferences of
individual colleges."

Events conducted

01. Codekshetra
Geek Room has successfully conducted Delhi NCR’s
biggest offline hackathon “Codekshetra” at JIMS ,
Rohini with a massive 4000+ registration count .
500+ students from 120 + teams were selected to
participate in the final offline event who submitted
some really innovative and inspiring projects.
The event included various guiding sessions by
top industry experts . The students gave an
awesome feedback of the event and were really
glad on being a part of it.
Codekshetra was a benchmark setting event and
Geek room is dedicated to make the bar higher .

02. HackAvensis
HackAvensis was a yet another giant hackathon
conducted by GeekRoom at MSIT’s annual tech
fest.
It was 2 day long run hackathon which was
conducted in multiple stages checking for different
skill sets at every step .
The event turned out to be the true evaluator of
participant’s tech skills and gave particpants
insightful feedbacks and a delightful hackathon
experience

In conclusion, the establishment of a chapter within your


college is not just a mere addition but a strategic investment
in the future. As the rapid evolution of technology continues
to shape our society, it is imperative that academic
institution aligns itself with these advancements.

The core team and its members are sourced internally from
the institute, ensuring a deep understanding of institutional
ethos and values. Additionally, our team will provide
diligent oversight and guidance to the chapter team
throughout their activities.

The success of technological innovations is intricately tied to


societal integration and understanding. By fostering a
dedicated space for students to explore, discuss, and
actively engage in the latest technological trends, your
college can contribute significantly to preparing future
leaders and innovators.

Therefore, we urge the college authorities to embrace this


opportunity, recognizing that the establishment of a
Technology Society chapter will not only enrich the academic
experience but also position our institution as a leader in
nurturing tech-savvy and socially responsible graduates.
