Work Procedure: To remove, inspect,repairing and installation of a pump.

1. Shutting off the power supply.


2. Lock out/Tag out procedure is applied to the control panel.
3. Isolate the suction and discharge valve.
4.Remove the electrical power cable of motor.
5. Disassemble pump and motor and inspect in the workshop
6. Repair the pump if required.
7. Assemble the pump and motor after inspection and maintenance.
8. Installing the motor electrical power cable.
9.Pump and motor testing and hand-over to operation team.
10. Observing the performance of the new pump while running .
11.If the electrical ampere and voltage are stable continue run pump.
12.House keeping of pump area.
13.Job is done.

Shutdown duration: 1 Day


Impact of Pump Maintenance:
Pumpwill be out of service during the maintenance.
Solution for Impact: Standby pump will be operational during the repair of pump.

The work will be done at Utilty Plant.


ManPower Materials Tools
Engineer, Supervisor, Pump 1. Sand Paper Lifting Belt, Chain block, Forklift, Boom
Technician, Pipe Fitter, 2. WD-40 Truck(if Applicable), pipe wrench,
Electrician, Maintenance 3. Hand Gloves Spanner set, multimeter tester ,
Labors. 4. Cotton Rags warning tape, barricade, Mechanic Tool
kit, Grinder, Gas Detector(if Applicable).

TAMIMI COMMENTS:
This maintenance activity requires a Hot Work Permit and Confined Space(if Required).
