AP Online Workshop
Accessing Online Workshops
Sign in to the College Board website and go to My Dashboard and click on ‘AP Professional Learning’.
Click on your workshop under ‘AP Online Workshops’.

AP Online Workshop
On the Online Workshops page, you will see all workshops you have registered for, with the recent
workshop appearing at the top of the page.

Workshop Table Sections
Title – Lists the topic for each module in a workshop and the date and time the live sessions will begin.
Also indicates if the module is Live (synchronous and not recorded) or On-Demand (asynchronous).
Duration – Estimate of how long the module will take to complete.
Task – Tasks that must be completed before you can move to the next module. Tasks may include:
Downloading resources, viewing videos, or assignments, and/or submitting assignments. When the task
is available and an action item is needed, the task will be in blue and the Status will be indicated as
Incomplete. After you click on the blue text and complete the task, the Status will change to Complete.
Only after all tasks are updated to Complete, will you have access to the subsequent module.
Live Sessions – The live sessions will show a blue button as long as the module is open and the meeting
has not ended. The button text will be Test Zoom if the meeting has not started and is more than 15
minutes away. The button text will change to Join Meeting when it is less than 15 minutes before the
meeting starts, or the meeting is in progress.
Clicking on the Test Zoom button will give you a pop up to explain the process.

Clicking on the Join Meeting button will open Zoom in a new tab and will ask you to open the Zoom app
or you can cancel and choose to continue to access the meeting in your browser.
If the module has not opened yet, the Zoom button will not appear and the text will be grayed out. If the
meeting has ended, the button will not appear.
Submission – Indicates if an assignment needs to be submitted for the module. If an assignment needs
to be submitted, you will see ‘Submit Assignment in blue. After your assignment is submitted, it will
update to ‘Assignment Submitted’. For instructions on how to submit your assignment, go to Submitting
Assignments.
Feedback – Lists status of an assignment for the module. Important note: You DO NOT have to wait for
feedback before moving to the next module.

Submitting Assignments
You will not be able to change the file you submit for your assignment after you upload it. So be sure to
check the file name is correct before clicking “Upload File”.
To change a file before you upload your assignment, click the x next to the file name to remove the file
you chose.
Important note: Use the following naming convention for all files: Document Name_Last Name, First
Name (i.e. Course Plan_Doe, John).

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I join Module 1 of the online workshop?
You can access Module 1 by clicking on the blue Join Meeting button within the AP Online
Workshops page. To access the AP Online Workshops page, go to My Dashboard and click on
‘AP Professional Learning’. Click on your workshop under ‘AP Online Workshops’ to access
module 1.
If you cannot access the ‘AP Professional Learning’ page through My Dashboard, go to:
https://account.collegeboard.org/login/login?appId=205 and log-in using the username you
used to register for the workshop. Then click on ‘AP Professional Learning’.

I don’t see my online workshop after I click on ‘AP Professional Learning’ on ‘My
Dashboard’, what should I do?
Make sure that you are logged in using the College Board username you used to register for the
workshop. If you don’t remember which username you used to register, email
[email protected] and ask them to provide you with the username you used to
register for the workshop.
I’m trying to submit my assignment and keep on running into an error, what
should I do?
Make sure that the file you are submitting is one of .pdf, .doc, .docx, or .odt. The system does
not accept .pages files. Also, go to Submitting Assignments for detailed instructions.
I am trying to complete Modules 2-3 and running into technical issues, what
should I do?
If you are running into issues, try to access the modules using a different browser. We
recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. You might run into issues if you are using
Safari or Internet Explorer.
