contact another supervisor after canceling contact with the first. The cancelation
should be made with the consent of the relevant supervisor. The deadline must

Q7 Is there a possibility that the program will be suspended next year due to
COVID-19?
A7
Lar year, we started the program on October, but the MEXT scholarship students
could not come to Japan at the beginning due to travel restrictions. We have
developed a combination of online and on-campus lectures to deal with the
situation. By the special immigration arrangements supported by MEXT, all the
participants could join us on campus by December and the program has started
without suspension. We expect the same scenario in 2022 even if COVID-19
situation continues.
