Overview of restrictions

When you add a single venue to your network or add Overview of networks
multiple venues in bulk using the Bulk Import tool, it is and venues
important to make sure you are capturing all the required Venue data fields
fields for your venues. The following table outlines the
required and optional fields that appear in the ad platform Manage your venues
or Bulk Import template for each venue. The Type column is Manage venues in bulk
only relevant for those using the Bulk Import tool.

dashboard. This field must
be set to 0 in order to upload
a bulk edit venue csv.

Screen The number of screens that Int Requ

Count correspond to a single venue. ired
For example, an entire train
station’s screens might be
driven by a single player that
pushes content to all of the
player's connected screens.

Note that you must contact

Vistar (at
[email protected]) in
order to enable screen count.

After screen counts are set,

the inventory tool displays
the total number of screens
that your orders target in
addition to the total number
of venues. This information
can be shared with clients
when you export a shared
map through SpotStream.

You can refer to this screen

count when reserving and
booking orders.

If this is not provided, this

field defaults to 1.

Note: Screen count has no

bearing on impression
calculations. Impressions are
stored at the venue-level, not
at screen-level, so media
owners should factor in
screen count when setting
their venue-level
impressions.

Activati Date that the venue will be Da Requ

You can add or edit an

activation date to an existing
venue at any time.

If a venue is added without

an activation date, the
activation date defaults to
the day after the venue was
added to the system.

Note: Ad server/trafficking
will show programmatic ads
immediately but loops will
not be activated until the
activation date. This is
because loops are driven by
inventory.
