Task #1 REFLECTION The ff phrases should be completed after watching the webinar.
Each one should
have diff views in completing the task. No two students shall submit identical ideas.
1. I FIND THE WEBINAR INTERESTING, BECAUSE the title of webinar is more interesting the Positive
Relationships in an Online Setting. When I first saw the speakers and they were Indiana/Indian so I lost
my appetite to watch because I could hardly understand what they were saying, but I tried. I understood
well and I focused on the message of the webinar not on the person. It caught my interest because the
title is just the right thing for him now, because we know that now there are no face to face classes so
teachers and students are having a hard time with the new way of class where the classroom is the
technology. A positive student relationship to his/her teacher are fundamental to success. When
students feel supported, they're more likely to engage in learning and have better academic outcomes.
Plus, when students have positive interactions with teachers, they have fewer behavioral problems.
2. I REALIZED THAT as a student it is also important that we know what the problems our teachers face
in the online class and we should not just focus on our problems as students, because if we are alone,
how can that our teacher who deals with many students. That is why sometimes when our teachers
have shortcomings, we must respect them so that we can also help them reduce their stress and we can
help them to build a good relationship with our students.
3. I HAD DIFFICULTY IN the way the speakers spoke because it's hard to understand, I'm just having a
hard time here, but when I tried to understand if his message was very good, it was timely because
maybe now it's an online class. So we shouldn't just focus on what the speaker's way of speaking is, we
should focus on what the speaker's message is.
4. I FIRMLY BELIEVED THAT it is very important to build a good relationship between students and
teachers because when a student is close to a teacher it will be easier to learn because he will have
more courage to answer because he is comfortable with his teacher, he will not be afraid to make
mistakes when he answers because he is comfortable with his teacher. Teachers who have strong bonds
with their students have been shown to be more effective in their teaching roles. In addition to lower
levels of behavioral problems, teachers with strong classroom bonds are also able to achieve higher
levels of academic success among students.
5. AS A FUTURE TEACHER, I SHALL build a good relationship to my students to make it easier for them to
learn and for them to be comfortable with me. It is also important that I know the Ten Ways you can
have a Happy Class, the following are: get to know each other, celebrate, digital agreement, soft starts,
office hours, team them up, asynchronize, say hello to the parents and virtual field. It is important that
we know this as a teacher or as a future educator so that we know better how we can teach our
students well and so that we can capture their every interest and know their every passion. It is also
important that we know where our students are struggling so that we can find other ways to make it
easier for our students to learn.
