Job Description: Frontend Software Developer

Frontend Software Developer

The Frontend IT team is responsible for building intuitive, dynamic, and responsive user interfaces for Silver Point. We are looking
for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in frontend development to join a growing Romanian team and partner with the US
IT team to contribute to the success of the firm. Initially, the candidate will be responsible for developing new features and improving
the performance and scalability of the frontend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement responsive, high-performance web applications using React OR Angular
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure modern, efficient, and maintainable solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing solutions in a timely manner
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Work with backend developers to integrate frontend applications with backend services
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, deployment, and maintenance.

Qualifications/Skills

Required:
• Strong experience with Angular OR React
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Understanding fundamental design principles and skill in writing clean, readable, smartly commented code
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs
• Desire to work with and gain in-depth knowledge of finance and risk management
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, quick learner, and demonstrated ability to learn new technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Romanian
• Legal authorization to work in Romania.

Preferred:
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx)
• Strong academic track record with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration (CI) pipelines.
