V.O: Since this is a very special event, let us officially commence our gathering as we pay respect to
our Philippine flag through singing of the national anthem to be followed by asking divine intervention
as we say our prayer through a live Interfaith Prayer to be given to us by the selected pupils of Titogop
Elementary School.

Ladies and gentlemen, let us give a round of applause for our hosts for today… CHERRY MAE LOCAS
and JOSHUA FURIA!
INTRODUCTION
CHERRY: Good morning everyone! We are gathered here today to celebrate the 2024 Pambansang
Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa or National Reading Month Culmination Program.
JOSH: So Cherry, November of every year is known in the Philippines as Book and Reading Month.
Our courtesy to our respected school head, Sir Michael Sol S. Binghay together with the strongest
faculty members, our teachers here in Titogop Elementary School...
CHERRY: To all our school personnel, parents/guardians, and to our schoolmates, a very glorious
morning!
JOSH: To welcome us all and be enlightened about our celebration today, let’s hear it from the School
Pagbasa Coordinator, JULIE ANN MANIGOS. A round of applause, please.
CHERRY: Thank you so much for the welcome message, Ma’am JULIE.
On this day, let us come together and work towards achieving and promoting love for reading and full
awareness and understanding on the role of reading and literacy in cultivating critical thinking among
us learners.
JOSH : And of course, we will not forget that this is a great avenue for all us to build and showcase our
self-confidence. Am I right, Cherry?
When we say about self-confidence, we are talking about the talented pupils here in Titogop
Elementary School. One of the talented learners will give us a song number today!
A learner, whose talent and self-confidence are overflowing, let us all welcome DAPHNEE JEWEL
PANDIAN AND DEVINE CATALA OF GRADE 5 EARTH!
Since we are celebrating National Reading Month, we have invited a very special guest to tell us a
story. Would you like to listen to a story?

Without further ado, let us all welcome our GUEST STORYTELLER, a parent, MRS. ELIDETH LABE!
JOSH: That was an amazing story, Mrs. LABE! Thank you so much!
At this point in time, to formally begin our Presentation of BOOK CHARACTER COSTUMES, may I call on
MICHELLE H. PILOTON to read the guidelines and criteria for judging and to introduce our judges.
CHERRY: Thank you very much, MA’AM MICH!
Let us begin our PRESENTATION OF BOOK CHARACTER COSTUMES with the KINDERGARTEN PUPILS!
Around of applause, everyone.
CHERRY Now, let us give a round of applause for GRADE 1 PUPILS IN THEIR BOOK CHARACTER
COSTUMES!
Let’s cheer for the GRADE 2 PUPILS IN THEIR BOOK CHARACTER COSTUMES.
CHERRY: That was so amazing costumes, grade 2 pupils! Now, let us give a round of applause for
GRADE 3 PUPILS IN THEIR BOOK CHARACTER COSTUMES.
Ladies and gentlemen, Let’s cheer for the GRADE 6 PUPILS IN THEIR BOOK CHARACTER COSTUMES.
CHERRY: You are awesome in your costumes, grade 6 pupils! Schoolmates, let us all welcome GRADE
5 PUPILS IN THEIR BOOK CHARACTER COSTUMES.
JOSH: AMAZING! You are all looking great in your costumes, grade 5 pupils!
The last but definitely not the least, let us all welcome, the GRADE 4 PUPILS IN THEIR BOOK
CHARACTER COSTUMES.
JOSH: We would also like to appreciate the efforts of the parents and guardians in making their
costumes possible and amazing! Thank you, parents and guardians!
At this point in time we will be blessed with a great performance. Please help me welcome, SHALLYNIE
APOLINARES ! A LOUD ROUND OF APPLAUSE PLEASE
CHERRY: That was such an amazing performance! I am a proud classmate here! Thank you for that,
Shallynie.
Moving forward, before we announce the winners and award certificates and tokens, we will be graced
with different reading or pagbasa presentations from all grade levels. Are you ready to witness their
different performances?
JOSH: Oh! I think they are not yet ready, Cherry. Schoolmates are you ready? (wait for the response)
Ladies and gentlemen, schoolmates, let us give a round of applause for the GRADE 3 PUPILS!
CHERRY: Great job, GRADE 3 Pupils! Let us welcome our next presenter, GRADE 2 PUPILS!
JOSH: That was an amazing performance, grade 2 PUPILS! Now, let us witness the presentation of
GRADE 1 PUPILS!
CHERRY: That was indeed fascinating, Grade 1 Pupils! Let us welcome our next presenter,
KINDERGARTEN PUPILS!
JOSH: That was a wonderful performance, KINDERGARTEN PUPILS! Now, let us witness the
presentation of GRADE 6 PUPILS!
CHERRY: That was absolutely delightful, Grade 6 Pupils! Let us welcome our next presenter, GRADE 5
PUPILS!
JOSH: That was an amazing performance, grade 6 PUPILS! Now, let us witness the presentation of
GRADE 4 PUPILS!

CHERRY: And that concludes our reading and pagbasa performances!
JOSH: Congratulations learners and teachers for the impressive presentations! Those presentations are
just the beginning of showcasing the skills and abilities of the learners and teachers of TITOGOP
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. We will see more of those next year, during the SPEECH FEST- when it is already
a competition.
CHERRY At this juncture, for the awarding of certificates for our winners, may I call on Ma’aam Aime
Rose Villanueva. This will be awarded by Sir Michael Sol S. Binghay to be assisted by Ma’am
JULIE ANN MANIGOS, School Pagbasa Coordinator and Ma’am Michelle H. Piloton, School Reading
Coordinator.
CHERRY: Thank you so much, Ma’am Aime, Sir Michael, Ma’am Julie and Ma’am Mich. Congratulations
to all the winners!
JOSH: To give us another great performance, let’s all welcome, REHAN PANDIAN from grade 3 Apo.
JOSH: Definitely, Cherry! Titogop Elementary School is indeed a haven of talented learners! Lindsay,
we will not end this program without hearing a message from our father, Sir Michael Sol S. Binghay. A
round of applause, please!
CHERRY: Thank you so much, Sir Michael for your wonderful message. To end this event with a prayer,
may I call on, KATRINA TAHIL of Grade 6 Rizal.
