ORING Switch Configuration Procedure (common for -OCC, BCC & SAS):

1. Login Procedure
 Go to Google Chrome or any web browser and fill default IP/assigned IP and press
enter button.
 Default IP:192.168.10.1 or configured IP: (192.168.1.251 OCC Server RoomR N/S1,
192.168.1.252 OCC Servver Room N/S2 ) (As per IP list)
 User name: admin
 Password: admin
 Login page will display as shown in below picture and click on sign in button:

2. System information
 After sign up home
ome page will be display as shown in below picture:

3. System Information Configuration

 Click on Basic setting  Basic setting then system information configuration page
will appear  fill system location & system contact as per required information and
click on save.

4. IP Configuration
 Click on Basic setting IPIP settingIP interfacesfill IP in IPv4 and mask length 
click on save button as shown in below picture

5. VLAN Configuration
 Click on VLANVLAN Membership
Membershipassign VLAN id and nameselect

configured as per existing

6. VRRP Configuration (Virtual

 VRRP configuration not required as now because redundancy already managed by
existing routers. if required in future will be configured and add in this document.

7. SNMP Configuration
 If device/switch needs to be shown in NMS then SNMP will be configured as shown
in below picture:
 Click on SNMPSystem
SystemFill details and click on save button.

 Click on SNMP Communities and configure the NMS system ip address

 Click on SNMP Groups and assign ‘public’ group name in ‘v2c’ as shown in below
picture click on save button.

 Click on SNMP Access  Add New Entry and fill details as shown in below

8. Port Configuration detail
 Click on port settingport
port control and view the port status.

9. IP Routing
 By VLAN assign two IP Address (need different domain)
 VLAN 1 = 192.168.10.1
 VLAN 2 = 192.168.20.1

 Click on Basic setting IP settingIP interfaces VLAN  assign VLAN
IDassign IP & subnet mask of both network  click on save button as shown in
below picture:

 Click on VLAN configuration and assign VLAN idselect port which is part of the
respective VLAN as shown in below picture:

 Click on VLANPortsAssign
Assign VLAN on respective ports.

10. Switch Backup


 Click on Basic settingBackup
Backupclick on save configuration.

11. Switch backup restoration
 Click on Basic settingRestore
Restoreclick on Choose file then select config file and click
on Upload.

12. System Reboot


 Go to System RebootRestart
Restart Device windows appear on screen then click on Yes.

13. Factory Default
 Go to factory default Factory default windows appear on screen  if want to keep
IP & User/password as it then tick on below box otherwise untick. click
click on Yes.
