I. CALL TO ORDER
The 7th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay North Mapang was called to order by
Hon. Brian Fitz A. Enderez, SK Chairman, at 1:00 PM.
a. Opening Prayer
The session commenced with an opening prayer led by Hon. Jimson T. Manigsaca, setting a solemn tone
for the proceedings.
b. Philippine National Anthem
Following the prayer, the Philippine National Anthem was sung, fostering a sense of patriotism among the
attendees.
c. Roll Call
The roll call was conducted by the SK Secretary, Hon. Aivy Mejias Banawa. All members were accounted
for, ensuring a quorum was met.
d. Reading of the Previous Minutes
The minutes of the previous session were read by the Secretary. After review, the minutes were approved
as presented, with no amendments or corrections.
II. CALENDAR OF BUSINESS
Fiesta sa Mapang Activities Proposal
Presented by: Hon. Brian Fitz A. Enderez
Hon. Brian Fitz A. Enderez proposed various activities for the upcoming Fiesta sa Mapang, including:
Disco Night: A community dance event to bring people together in celebration.
Basketball Tournament: A sports competition fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship.
Billiards Tournament: A recreational event encouraging friendly competition.
Volleyball Tournament: A game promoting teamwork, agility, and fitness among residents.
Traditional Parlor Games: Fun games such as sack race, tug-of-war, and palo sebo to engage
participants of all ages.
A motion was raised by Hon. Filsan Cabasag to seek approval from the barangay officials for these
activities, which was seconded by Hon. Jimson T. Manigsaca. The motion was approved unanimously.
Contributions and Responsibilities of the SK
Presented by: Hon. Filsan Cabasag
Hon. Filsan Cabasag discussed the necessary contributions and responsibilities of the SK members in
organizing the Fiesta activities. The proposed contributions included:
Budget Allocation: Ensuring a portion of the SK funds would be used for prizes, decorations, and
logistics.
Volunteer Assignments: Assigning SK members to specific tasks such as event coordination,
crowd control, and judging competitions.
Sponsorship Seeking: Coordinating with local businesses and organizations for potential
sponsorships.
After a thorough discussion, Hon. Brian Fitz A. Enderez moved to approve the contributions and
responsibilities as outlined by Hon. Cabasag. The motion was seconded by Hon. Honey Kyle Longcob
and approved by all members in attendance.
III. ADJOURNMENT
With no further items on the agenda, Hon. Brian Fitz A. Enderez moved for adjournment at 4:30 PM. The
motion was seconded by Hon. Filsan Cabasag and approved unanimously. The session was officially
adjourned, marking the end of a productive meeting.
