Role Overview:

As a UI/UX Design Intern at Exonect, you will play an essential role in creating visually appealing
and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. This role is perfect for someone
passionate about design, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to real-world projects. Working
alongside experienced designers, you’ll gain hands-on experience in UI/UX design principles,
tools, and methodologies, while enhancing your skills in a collaborative and creative
environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• UI/UX Design: Assist in designing intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for web
and mobile applications.

• User Research: Conduct research and gather insights on user behaviour, preferences,
and pain points to inform design decisions.

• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to visually


communicate design concepts and user flows.

• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other team
members to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet user needs.

• Usability Testing: Participate in usability testing and analyse feedback to improve


design quality and user experience.

• Design Refinement: Assist in refining and iterating designs based on user feedback,
analytics, and project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Currently in the final semester of a degree program in Graphic


Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.

o Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centred design, and usability best


practices.

o Familiarity with design systems and responsive design.

• Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively, solve design challenges, and bring
innovative ideas to life.

• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with


team members.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or basic frontend development principles.

• Experience with user research methods, such as surveys or user interviews.

• Understanding of wireframing and prototyping tools like Invision, Axure, or Marvel.

• Familiarity with motion design or animation tools.
