Steps to Turn off 2-Step Verifica on:

Desktop/Laptop:
1. Open your Google Account.
2. In the "Security" sec on, select 2-Step Verifica on. You might need to sign in.
3. Select Turn off.
4. A pop-up window will appear to confirm that you want to turn off 2-Step Verifica on.
Select Turn off.

Android:
1. Open your device's Se ngs app and tap Google and then Manage your Google Account.
2. At the top, tap Security.
3. Under "Signing in to Google," tap 2-Step Verifica on. You might need to sign in.
4. Tap Turn off.
5. Confirm by tapping Turn off.

How to Access Back Up codes (only avail if you get verifica on code, even a er turning two-step verifica on off)

1. Go to Google Account
2. Click on "Security" op on
3. Click on two-step verifica on & turn it ON.
4. Click on Back up codes and note down 2 or 3 back up codes from there.
5. Now try logging into your Gmail account from fresh device (desktop at computer lab) by providing your login ID. Do not
put your password but instead click on "Try another way" op on.
6. Now Gmail will ask for some op ons about how you want to sign in. If Back up code op on is seen then put any of the
noted down back up code. If it doesn't shows then click on Get Help op on. The page will take you to Account Recovery
where you need to select "Try another way" again. The on the next page you will see that there is an op on coming to put
the 8 digit back up code. Put it and it will logon to your mail box.
