This document is a revision worksheet for Grade VIII Mathematics focusing on the topic of Mensuration. It includes a series of problems requiring the application of various formulae related to area, volume, and surface area of geometric shapes. Students are also asked to list the relevant formulae from the chapter.
Write all the formulae from the chapter Mensuration and then answer the following problems.

Litres 4 The parallel sides of a trapezium are 12 m. and 8 m. and the distance between them is 6m. Find the area of the trapezium. 5 A cuboidal wooden block contains 144 cu cm. of wood. If it is 6 cm. long and 3 cm. wide, find its height. 6 The height of a cylinder is 15 cm. and curved surface area is 660 sq.mt. Find the radius of the cylinder. 7 The total surface area of a cube is 96 m2 . Find its volume. 8 The diagonals of a rhombus are of length 16 cm. and 30 cm. Find its area. 9 The area of a trapezium is 700 sq.cm and the distance between the parallel sides is 8 cm. Find the length of the parallel sides if the parallel sides are in the ratio 3:4 10 Three cubes, each of edge 2 cm. long are placed together. Find the total surface area of the cuboid so formed. 11 The diameter of a road roller, 1m 40cm long is 80cm. If it takes 600 revolutions to level a playground, find the cost of levelling the ground at Rs. 3 per sq.m 12 A rectangular sheet of aluminium foil is 44 cm. long and 20 cm. wide. A cylinder is made out of it, by rolling the foil along width. Find the volume of the cylinder. 13 The perimeter of the floor of a hall is 250 m. If the height is 4 m, find the cost of painting the four walls at the rate of Rs. 12 per square mt 14 A swimming pool is 20 m long, 15m wide and 3m deep.
