Experiment No-02 Objective
Objective:
Procedures:
3. Now measure the current 𝐼, Voltage 𝑉𝐿 , and resistance 𝑅𝐿 and note them down on the table.
4. Varying DC source value from 1 V to 5 V by 1 volt step and every time the above three variables
as mentioned in procedure 3 and record them in the data table below.
Data Table for Observation:
Graph:
• Plot a voltage (V) graph on the y-axis against current (I) on the x-axis.
• The graph should be a straight line passing through the origin, verifying Ohm's Law.

Discussion: This experiment shows that Ohm's Law works by proving that voltage and current
increase together in a straight-line relationship. The graph of voltage versus current is a straight
line through zero, and the slope gives the resistance. Slight differences in results might happen
because of loose wires, minor tool errors, or the resistor getting warmer during the test. By
improving the setup, the results can be even better. This experiment is a simple but important way
to understand electrical circuits work.
