Hi,

I am trying to communicate with Secure Saral meter using Gurux client


library . Interface used is Serial.

Mikro Usb on Meter to Db9. Parameters i used are following:

a) Server Address : 3
b) Client Address : 32

c) Password : ABCD0001
d) Type of Addressing : Logical
e) Logical Server : 1

f) Authentication Type : Low

Tried with different possible combinations but no success.

It tries to send SNRM packet and gets failed over there. Basically time-

out happens . So i am not sure why this is happening. Has any one
worked / communicated with this meter.

I have tried using DLMS director GUI utility also but results are same.

Looking for some valuable inputs.

Hi,

Hi,

Try to change server address to 1. You are receiving an echo from the serial port.

Check also your serial port settings from the meter documentation.

Where you able to connect to the Saral meter if yes let me know which DB9

connector you used.
