INTRODUCTION
The world of cinema is a vibrant tapestry of storytelling that
transcends cultural and geographical boundaries. From the
silent films of the early 20th century to the digital marvels of the present
day, films have evolved into a powerful medium that entertains,
educates, and inspires audiences worldwide. This report delves into the
multifaceted domain of films, exploring their historical development,

The decition has been taken by the “STASTISTICS” Dept. of Uttarpara


Govt. High school, to conduct a project on the gross collection on
“Indian cinema”.
Also it will be checked that which type of films are the highest grossing
of all time. At the end of this we might be able to conclude various
important fact about Indian cinema.

sources to see which movie earned much . The process of
collecting data is not so easy as there is too much fake figures ,
misinformation etc.

The worldwide collection of cinemas are not too easy to find and
there is no trustable source to find the actual figure. But we found
the day by day collection of some movies .

ANALYSIS & INFERENCE


This survey has been done from Uttarpara ,Hooghly
,West Bengal, India. While doing this survey many things and
sides are explored . The top 15 highest grossing Indian films are
different types but there is a common thing in many of the
movies ,that is action . many of the films are action oriented in
the list ,but there is many other types of films are available. 10
films of the list are action packed film and the other films
contain comedy ,emotion ,social message etc. The list includes a
mix of genres such as sports drama (Dangal),
fantasy (Baahubali series), action (RRR, KGF),
thriller (Pathaan), comedy-drama (PK), and
horror-comedy (Stree). Many of these films
feature top-tier actors like Aamir Khan (Dangal),
Prabhas (Baahubali series), Shah Rukh Khan
(Jawan, Pathaan), and Allu Arjun (Pushpa).
The future of Indian cinema is depending on this
chart.We can assume that the collection and rating of an film is
not dependable on each other , if the collection of an film is good
the it is not certain that the rating of the film will be good . The
examples are here presented in previous charts .

CONCLUTION
From the analysis it is clear that ratings and collection of a film is not
connected to each other.There is no relation between them . Indian
cinema movie ratings have become an essential guide for audiences
navigating the diverse and ever-evolving film landscape. These ratings
not only reflect the audience's preferences and critical acclaim but also
influence future productions. With the rise of various rating platforms
and the participation of the general public, the cinematic industry has
become more transparent and competitive. In essence, movie ratings
serve as a bridge between filmmakers and viewers, ensuring that quality
content receives the recognition it deserves while providing valuable
