WINSCOPENET INSTALLATION GUIDE

• You must supply a couple of necessary cables (in the pic. below one of the two)

STEP 1
ONCE RECEIVED THE CABLE, INSTALL the peak drivers supplied with the CD that you will receive with
the cable; otherwise, you can download from the following link:

It is also necessary to install the application PCN -view, supplied with the CD, or to download it from the
following link:

STEP 2
To create a link on PCAN (CAN_Dongle_Configuration), necessary to let dialogue
correctly WinscopeNet with the net CAN:
• Install PEAK driver
• Go to Control Panel and click on PCAN Hardware Icon
• Set that the PCAN-USB device is connected using USB port and click OK.
• In the second tab user can check the PCAN_USB drivers’ version

• Connect the dongle to pc and then follow these steps in PCAN Nets
Configuration utility supplied with the PEAK driver:
WARNING
As shown in the picture above our convention is that the Baud Rate is closely related
with the Net Name.
• Click on Floppy disk Icon to SAVE this configuration.
STEP 3
To download and install SW of parameters:

STEP 4
WinscopeNet must be enabled. Follow the procedure below
“WinscopeNet_Activation”. Once activated, the SW is ready to be used.

WinscopeNet Activation
Once you installed WinscopeNet, try to open a *cfg file (for example the Transformer
one); the program will show you the license activation window, where you can
generate the activation code.
Once activation code is generated, paste it in an email (as object write “WinscopeNet
activation request ID OPACMARE”) and send it to: [email protected]
and in copy to [email protected]. Cobo will reply with an email with the
following contents:

Here is your License File 3B6.key (zipped)


Copy it unzipped into this folder %APPDATA%\WinscopeNet, and then, it is enough
to paste the key in the specified directory as per pic. below.
STEP 5
For parameters adjustment, besides the SW of setting, it is necessary the parameters file
(file project_Level.CFG, di?erent according to the typology of product and SW release).
