SCRIPT FOR THE 65TH FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATION

MA’AM RENA: A blessed and wonderful morning, Johannians!


SIR DARWIN: Good morning, everyone! Today, we gather with hearts full of gratitude and
excitement as we celebrate a truly momentous occasion—the 65th Foundation Day of Ilog
Catholic High School!
MA’AM RENA: For 65 years, our institution has stood as a pillar of faith, excellence, and service,
nurturing young minds and shaping the future. It is a day to reflect on our past, honor our
present, and look forward to an even brighter future together.
SIR DARWIN: So, let us embrace this special day with joy, appreciation, and enthusiasm!
Without further ado, let us formally begin our program. May we request everyone to rise as we
start with a solemn prayer.
I. OPENING PRAYER
SIR DARWIN: As we commence this celebration, let us take a moment to acknowledge God’s
presence among us. May we all stand, bow our heads, and join in prayer. Leading us in our
prayer this morning is Mrs. Rena P. Dante, LPT, our beloved Guidance Advocate, and please
remain standing for the singing of the Philippine national Anthem and this to be followed by the
singing of our School hymn.
IV. OPENING REMARKS
MA’AM RENA: To formally open today’s momentous celebration, we are privileged to hear from
a leader whose dedication and commitment continue to inspire us all.
Ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome our respected School Principal, Mr. Mamerto O. Calderon,
LPT.

SIR DARWIN: Thank you very much, Sir, for your inspiring and heartfelt message.
V. RAISING OF BANNERS
MA’AM RENA: The raising of banners symbolizes our school’s legacy of excellence, unity, and
tradition. As these banners soar high, may they remind us of our shared commitment to uphold
the values of Ilog Catholic High School.
SIR DARWIN: Let’s give them a warm round of applause!
VI. KINDERGARTEN DANCE PRESENTATION
MA’AM RENA: And now, prepare to be delighted as our young learners showcase their talents!
These little stars are filled with so much energy and enthusiasm, ready to bring smiles to our
faces.
SIR DARWIN: Let’s give them our full support as they present their wonderful dance number!
Ladies and gentlemen, our Kindergarten students!
MA’AM RENA: That was truly an adorable and heartwarming performance! Let’s give them
another big round of applause!

SIR DARWIN: Now, let’s turn up the energy and excitement as we move on to one of the
highlights of today’s event—the Cheerdance Competition!
MA’AM RENA: This is the moment where our talented students showcase their athleticism,
coordination, and school spirit! Before we begin, let us introduce the esteemed panel of judges
who will evaluate today’s competition.
SIR DARWIN: Every great competition requires the keen eyes of experienced judges. Allow us
to introduce the esteemed individuals who will be making the tough decisions today.
MA’AM RENA: Now, let us go over the criteria for judging, which will determine the best team in
today’s competition.
II. CHEERDANCE COMPETITION
SIR DARWIN: Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for! Let’s get ready to witness our teams
in action! Let’s hear your cheers and support for our competitors!
MA’AM RENA: That was absolutely electrifying! The energy, creativity, and teamwork displayed
by our students were truly commendable! Let’s give all our teams a thunderous round of
applause!

III. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS


SIR DARWIN: The tension is high, and the anticipation is growing. After much deliberation, the
moment of truth has arrived—the announcement of winners!
(Winners are announced, with cheers from the audience)
MA’AM RENA: Congratulations to all the teams for giving their best and showcasing their
amazing talent! You are all winners in our hearts!
IV. GIVING OF CERTIFICATES TO THE JUDGES AND TRAINERS
