(c). y 2 zp + x2 zq = y 2 x
(d). x(y − z)p + y(z − x)q = x(x − y)

(e). xp + yq = z − a x2 + y 2 + z 2 (Hint: use the substitution x2 + y 2 + z 2 = t2 to simplify the
calculation part.)

(a). p2 + q 2 = m, where m is a constant.
(b). p2 + q 2 = 4pq
(c). (x − y)(px − qy) = (p − q)2 (Hint: Use the transformations x + y = u and xy = v to convert
the equation into Type-I form and then solve it.)
