The experiment examined the loading effect of a voltage divider circuit by comparing theoretical calculations with practical output voltage measurements. Results showed a close agreement between theoretical and practical values, with percentage errors ranging from 0.40% to 0.77%, indicating the theoretical model's effectiveness. Recommendations for improving accuracy include using higher tolerance resistors, careful placement of measurement equipment, and applying shielding techniques to reduce stray capacitance and inductance.

In this experiment, we investigated the loading effect of a voltage
divider circuit by comparing theoretical calculations with practical measurements of the output voltage (Vout ) under various load resistor conditions. Comparison of Theoretical and Practical Values: The comparison between theoretical and practical values of Vout revealed a close agreement between the two sets of data. The theoretical calculations, based on the modified voltage divider formula, accurately predicted the behaviour of the circuit under different load conditions. Despite minor issues, the percentage error remained within acceptable limits, ranging from 0.40% to 0.77%. This indicates that the theoretical model effectively captures the loading effect of the circuit. Evaluation of the loading effect : The loading effect, occurs by a decrease in Vout with increasing load resistor was observed consistently across all experimental measurements. As expected, the measured Vout was slightly lower than the calculated Vout for each load resistor value. This decrease is due to the additional current drawn by the load resistor, which alters the voltage division across the circuit. Recommendation for improvement : To increase the accuracy onto the experiment several steps can be taken. Using resistors with higher tolerance and carefully place the measurement equipment to minimize the error .Furthermore , shielding techniques can be applied to reduce the influence of stray capacitance and inductance , ensuring more accurate results .
