1) Why do you want to study in the USA?
Officer, I chose to study Data Science in the USA, because US has been the pioneer in this field, so I would get the best exposure possible. Also, universities in the US, offer advanced and industry relevant courses so I believe it will be a great learning experience for me.
2) Which program have you applied for?
I have applied for Masters in Data Science at DePaul University.
3) Is similar program available in India?
Well officer, I did research for universities in India but this program is not very widely offered. Also, the curriculum offered by Indian universities is not very advanced and Industry oriented, so I believe US is the best place for me to study Data Science
4) Why don’t you continue your higher education in India?
Officer, as per my experience in undergraduates, I believe the curriculum in India is more theoritical and USA I believe will get chance to have better exposure.
5) What is the scope of your course?
Data Science has a wide scope with opportunities in industries like IT, finance, healthcare, and retail, with high demand for skilled professionals globally.
6) What are the subjects that you are going to study?
I am looking forward to subjects like Machine Learning, Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, Statistical Modeling, and Data Visualization.
7) When did you complete your undergraduate course?
I completed my undergraduate course in June, 2024.
8) Tell me something about your academic project (in undergraduate)
My undergraduate project involved developing a predictive model by using programming tools like Jupiter Notebook. The aim was to cater the customers by providing them analysis of investment schemes offered by different banks and help make informed decisions.

I do not have formal work experience yet because i have just completed my undergraduate program.
10) Why do you want to study this program?
Officer, I have already studied subjects like Data visualisation, statistical Data analytics and Data Mining in my undergrad. I’m passionate about working with data and solving real-world problems, and this program will help me develop the skills required to excel in the field of Data Science.

I applied to four universities: DePaul University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Montclair State University, and New York Institute of Technology.
12) What are your reasons to choose this specific university?
Out of all the admits I had, DePaul was the best choice because it offers a designated track in Computational Methods, which is precisely my area of interest. Moreover, Depauls Centre of Data Science is one of its kind facility and it provides best opportunities for research and industry collaberations.
13) What is the annual tuition fee of your program?
The annual tuition fee is around $30500.
14) What are your future career plans?
After completing my program, I plan to work as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst in India, mainly focusing on using advanced data models and machine learning techniques to provide actionable insights to businesses in various industries and help me make efficient strategies.
15) How will you manage your accommodation?
I will book my accomodation from India itself after I get my visa approval
