"Thank you for the opportunity to interview.

My name is [Your Name], and I have a solid

background in network troubleshooting, server hardware support, and data center operations.
Over the years, I have honed my technical skills and built a strong foundation in various aspects
of networking and IT support.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications and a Network Technician

certificate from SAIT, along with certifications such as CCNA and CompTIA A+. My
technical expertise spans a wide range of areas, including Linux operating systems, network
management, and network security protocols like VPNs and firewalls. I have experience
troubleshooting and maintaining hardware like servers, routers, switches, and network devices,
and I’m proficient with diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and Putty.

In my most recent role at Baker Hughes as a Network Technician, I provided network support,
where I was responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading network devices, including
routers, switches, and firewalls. I worked closely with IT support teams to resolve connectivity
issues and outages, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients. I also managed local area
networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), and performed regular system updates,
backups, and patch management. Additionally, I collaborated with vendors to optimize
application performance.

Prior to that, I worked as a Hardware Technician at SaskTel, where I supported the repair and
maintenance of PCs, servers, and other IT devices. I gained valuable experience troubleshooting
hardware issues, including motherboards, power supplies, and storage devices, and I also helped
implement wireless networks and VoIP systems.

Most recently, in my role as a Control Room Officer and Supervisor at GardaWorld Inc.,
I’ve been focused on monitoring and managing alarm systems, overseeing video surveillance,
and ensuring the integrity of security systems. Although this role is more security-focused, it has
further sharpened my skills in system monitoring, problem-solving, and ensuring the reliability
of critical infrastructure.

I’m passionate about troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues, and I enjoy working
in environments where collaboration and teamwork are key. I’m excited to bring my hands-on
experience and strong technical background to a Network Technician role, where I can
contribute to maintaining and optimizing network systems and infrastructure."
