1. Among the oldest languages, which are still use as official


languages of the people in their place or country until now?

Languages like Tamil, Greek, Hebrew, Chinese, Arabic, Icelandic, Lithuanian,


and Farsi still use today as official language in their countries. People speak
them every day for talking, reading, and writing.

2. How important is language policy to a certain place?

Language policy is very important because it help people understand each


other and keep the culture safe. It also makes sure small languages not
disappear and help people learn big languages like English.

3. How do you know that Sumerian is considered as the first


known language of the world?

Sumerian is first language because old writing found from 3300 BC. People in
Sumer use it to write things down, and it help start other languages later.

4. Which language is familiar to you and you know how to


speak it?

I know the chinese one because I watch chinese drama and movies, but i
don’t know how speak it.

5. What are the goals of language policies?

Language policies help keep local languages strong and also teach people
English and other big languages. It makes sure that everyone can talk good
and understand each other better.
