• EIS Scope
EIS includes documents regarding university's academic
program competencies and objectives, lesson plans,
relations between courses and program competencies,
course outcome, evaluation criteria, documents for
teaching staff to share, questionnaires evaluating
educational processes, in-service training documents for
the initiative of updating educational programs that
commenced in December 27, 2007. EIS contains 14.048
different described courses that are still being processed.

• Goals
Engineers who can demand the technological and
scientific innovations and have the ability of analytic
thinking and design by giving theoretical and practical
education based on universal knowledge and teaching in
Electrical Electronics Engineering area.

• Objectives
Give the education for graduate engineers who can make
scientific and technical studies using current researches
and technologies in the frame of ethic principles, to
present the obtained knowledge to the humankind usage
and become one of the leading research foundations in
national and international area.

Further Studies
Graduated students have opportunity to work in these
fields; energy sector, electromechanically and electronic
industry, electric and electronic units in public institutes,
power stations of enterprises, village electrification, energy
systems, industrial automation, correspondence, lighting,
power fitting and software - hardware in computers,
electromagnetic compatibility etc..

Upon a successful completion of the programme, student


may continue with master and doctoral studies in the same
or similar scientific areas, which may accept students from
Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Qualification Requirements and 14

Regulations
• There is no final examination or examination period at
the end of an academic year, or at the end of the study
programme. There is, however, a final examination and
examination periods, i.e., normally takes two weeks and
starts immediately after at the end of each semester.
• Student is expected to have a successful completion of
internship in industry before graduation. The
competences gained and workload needed with
internship are ensured with the relevant courses’
content, practice and workload in the programme.
• In addition that student is required to complete a
degree project and final year dissertation, (taken in 7th
and 8th semester), which follows an oral presentation.
