The line graph illustrates how many international travelers come to
3 specific regions in Europe from the year 1987 to 2007.
Looking from an overall perspective, during this period all three destinations witnessed an upward trend. In that, the quantity of abroad visitors who go to the coast reached the peak, meanwhile, mountainous areas remained the least attractive travel option out of the three. In the first 5 years, there was a moderate fall in the number of foreigners visiting the coast about 5,000 people compared with in the year 1987. However, this number uplifted significantly in 15 years from 1987, and it kept increasing until reaching the peak of about 75,000 tourists who were attracted to the coast in 2007. Regarding the quantity of visitors who paid a visit to the mountains, the first decade of time experienced a sequential rose in this figure, from 20,000 to above 30,000 tourists. By 2007, the figure of visitors who came to the mountains went up to 35,000 people.
Contrary to the changing trend of the number of tourists going to the
mountain, in 1987, the number of go-ers who go to the lakes stood at just 10,000. Nevertheless, that number rapidly climbed to about 40,000 travelers in the first 10 years. From 1997 to 2000, there was a remarkable shot up of about 73,000 in the number of people who love coming to the lakes but this figure then gradually declined to about 50,000 people in 2007.
