Project Overview
Clout is a comprehensive marketplace designed to connect influencers (creators) with
advertisers, facilitating seamless collaborations and transactions. The project aims to provide a
robust platform for creators to monetize their influence and for advertisers to leverage the reach
of influencers for marketing campaigns. The core functionalities include user authentication,
profile management, customizable orders, secure payment processing, and role-based access
control.

Project Objectives
Develop a full-stack application using Sveltekit, Prisma, Supabase, Stripe, Flowbite UI, and
Tailwind CSS.

• Implement backend functionality including database modeling, authentication, and


image upload.
• Integrate Stripe payment processing for seamless and secure transactions.
• Enable advertisers to create customizable orders for creators.
• Allow creators to accept, refuse, or request modifications to orders.
• Implement user profiles with customizable options.
• Ensure responsive design and styling for optimal user experience across devices.

Personal Development Goals:


As the developer of Clout, my primary goal is to enhance my skills as a full-stack developer with
a focus on front-end development. By working on this project, I aim to gain hands-on experience
in utilizing new technologies such as Prisma, Stripe, and Flowbite UI. Additionally, I aspire to
fully transition into a freelance role, leveraging the experience gained from developing Clout to
pursue opportunities in the field of web development.
Project Outcomes:
Backend Development Completion:
SMART Goal: Complete backend development, including database modeling and
authentication, by the end of Week 2, ensuring all core functionalities are implemented and
tested.

Payment Integration:
SMART Goal: Integrate Stripe payment processing functionality into the platform by Week 5,
enabling secure and seamless transactions between advertisers and creators.

User Profile / Creator Offers Implementation:


SMART Goal: Implement user profile functionality with customizable options and allow Creators
to build custom offers by Week 7.

Customizable Order Feature:


SMART Goal: Develop the feature for advertisers to create customizable orders for creators by
Week 9, enabling seamless collaboration between Advertisers and Creators.

Frontend Styling and Responsiveness + extra:


SMART Goal: Complete frontend styling and ensure responsiveness across devices by Week 12,
providing users with a visually appealing and user-friendly interface. Use spare time to proof-
read the code base and implement small features as requested by the client.

Benoit is a JavaScript full stack developer with 20+ years of experience, running his own
company in France.

Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that the project presentation will be completed, meeting the presentation
requirements, by the Saturday of Week 13 deadline. The presentation will encompass a
demonstration of the platform's functionalities, key features, and achievements, followed by a
Q&A session. The recorded presentation will be posted to YouTube and the URL submitted to the
professor for review. Additionally, I will seek feedback from the Presentation Practice Center
staff to ensure the presentation is polished and refined before the final submission.
