MS-WORD
Microsoft Word is a word processor developed by Microsoft. It was first
released in 1983 under the name Multi-Tool Word for Xenix systems. MS
Word is a popular word-processing program used primarily for creating
documents such as letters, brochures, learning activities, tests, quizzes and
students' homework assignments. There are many simple but useful features
available in Microsoft Word to make it easier for study and work. That's why
so many people would prefer to convert the read-only PDF to editable Word
and edit PDF in Word.
a) Type the given paragraph exactly as it is using Calibri font, size 12.
b) Insert your full name and registration number at the top of the
document in bold and underlined.
c) Change the font type to Lucida Calligraphy and size to 14.
d) Align the paragraph to the right margin.
e) Save this file as ms-word_your_reg_number.doc in the “My Documents”
folder using the Save As option.
f) Edit some part of your document and save again using the Save option.
g) Close the file.
h) Open the file again using the Open option from the Office button.
i) View the file using the Print Preview option.
j) Take a printout of this document through the Print option (if required).
k) (Removed: No need to create a new document)
l) Copy and paste a selected part of your document within the same file
using shortcut keys for Copy & Paste.
m) Highlight your full name and registration number in yellow.
n) Search for the word "document" using the Find option.
o) Replace the word "Microsoft" with "MS" using the Replace option.
p) Select the entire document and change the font size.
q) Underline “Microsoft-Word” using the Underline option.
r) Draw a line through the middle of selected text using the Strikethrough
option.
s) Make the number "1" appear below the text baseline in Multi-Tool₁ using
the Subscript option.
t) Make the number "2" appear above the text baseline in Multi-Tool² using
the Superscript option.
u) Make your registration number the watermark of the document.
v) Change the border of the page using the Page Border option.
w) Choose the Indents tab.
x) Change the spacing between paragraphs by adding space above the
paragraph.
