individual components used for target processing and sonar control.

Starting with a brief introduction and install instructions this section also provide an overview
description of the SonarDisplay including waterfall views, the Target processing application
and the SonarControl application. Both Target and the SonarControl applications are available
from the Tools main menu entry of the SonarDisplay application.

1.1 Introduction
NaviScan SonarDisplay and NaviScan Target are add on applications to EIVA NaviScan. The
applications are distributed as part of the NaviScan installer.

The NaviScan SonarDisplay is used for waterfall display of sidescan data and can be operated
either online or offline. NaviScan Target used for target processing.

NaviScan SonarDisplay can operate in two modes, Online or Offline. During online operation
where NaviScan Online is logging sidescan data to a SBD file, the SonarDisplay can act
either as a local or as a remote waterfall display. In Offline mode the SonarDisplay can be
used for playback and target selection. The processing of each target is facilitated by
NaviScan Target.

The SonarControl is accessible from the SonarDisplay application. It provide special control
