 Develop skills in creating different types of lines using various tools.


 Practice combining lines to create patterns, textures, and compositions.

MATERIALS:

 Paper
 Pencils, pens, charcoal, or other drawing tools

TOOLS:

 Drawing board or table


 Lighting source (such as a lamp)

GUIDELINES:

 Start by practicing drawing different types of lines, such as straight


lines, curved lines, diagonal lines, and zigzag lines.
 Experiment with different drawing tools to create different line qualities,
such as thin, thick, bold, or delicate lines.
 Combine lines to create patterns and textures, such as cross-hatching,
stippling, or contour lines.
 Use lines to create a composition, such as a landscape, still life, or abstract
piece.
