Scenario:

The bank management system allows customers to view their account

summary, check transaction history, and perform fund transfers
securely. The system involves users like customers, bank staff, and
the system itself, ensuring smooth and efficient banking operations.

UML Diagram Chosen: Use Case Diagram

Justification for Choosing Use Case Diagram

1. User-Centric Representation:

o The system is primarily designed for users (customers and

bank staff) to interact with features like Account Summary,
Transaction History, and Fund Transfers.

o A Use Case Diagram visually represents these interactions,

ensuring a clear understanding of user roles and system
functionalities.

2. Clear Functional Scope:

o It helps in identifying primary actors (customers, bank

employees, and the banking system).

o It outlines key use cases, ensuring all functional requirements

are considered before system development.

3. Improved Requirement Analysis:

o The diagram helps in refining requirements by showing which

functionalities are accessible to which users.

o It ensures that all necessary interactions are covered and

unnecessary complexity is avoided.

4. Ease of Communication:

o Since SEPM focuses on process management, this diagram

allows developers, designers, and stakeholders to
communicate effectively.
o It acts as a bridge between technical teams and business
analysts by providing a simple, visual representation of
system use.

5. Foundation for Further Design:

o The Use Case Diagram can serve as a foundation for detailed

system modeling, including sequence diagrams, activity
diagrams, and class diagrams in later stages.

o It provides a high-level system overview, making it easier to

plan and allocate responsibilities in development.

USE CASE Diagram:
