of Girls Scout Day, an event that aimed to promote empowerment, creativity, and solidarity among
young women. The day was filled with a series of thoughtfully planned activities that inspired
reflection, showcased talents, and fostered collaboration within the group. The event was an
overwhelming success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of all Girl Scouts and the guidance
of their leaders.
Act 1: Reflect on It
The day began with an insightful activity led by Ma’am Ronalyn Padilla. In this session, she
showed a short video clip centered on the theme of gender equality, highlighting the importance of
equal rights, opportunities, and treatment for all genders. After watching the clip, the Girl Scouts
were encouraged to reflect on what they had seen and share their insights, comments, and ideas
with the group. This reflection fostered a rich and meaningful discussion among the participants,
allowing them to express their thoughts on gender equality, how it impacts society, and how they,
as young women, could contribute to creating a more just and equitable world. The activity
emphasized the Girl Scouts' capacity to think critically and engage in meaningful discourse about
important social issues.
Act 2: Babae, Mahalaga Ka
Following the reflective session, the next activity was titled "Babae, Mahalaga Ka," which
translates to "Woman, You Are Important." In this heartwarming activity, the Girl Scouts were
asked to write a personal message about the value of womanhood on a piece of colored paper.
These messages were filled with words of encouragement, admiration, and appreciation for the
strength, resilience, and contributions of women. After writing their heartfelt messages, the Girl
Scouts exchanged their notes with someone in their group. This exchange fostered an
atmosphere of love, support, and mutual respect, highlighting the importance of lifting one another
up and celebrating the unique value of every woman.
Act 3: Talent Mo, Show Mo

group talents were showcased. This activity provided a platform for the Girl Scouts to express their
creativity and share their unique skills with their peers. Whether it was singing, dancing, acting, or
showcasing other artistic talents, the performances were filled with passion and enthusiasm. The
diversity of talents demonstrated not only the individuality of each Girl Scout but also the collective
strength and creativity of the group. The audience cheered and supported each performer,
creating a vibrant and encouraging atmosphere that celebrated everyone's talents, regardless of
the skill level.
Act 4: Act Mo To
The final activity of the day, Act Mo To, was a fun and engaging acting exercise where each patrol
was given a scenario by their adult leaders. The Girl Scouts worked together to act out the given
scenarios, showcasing their teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and acting skills. This activity was
not only entertaining but also highlighted the importance of collaboration, communication, and
adaptability, as each patrol creatively interpreted their scenario in their unique way. The
performances were met with laughter, applause, and appreciation from both participants and
leaders, rounding off the day with a sense of camaraderie and accomplishment.
The day ended with a sense of achievement, with every Girl Scout leaving the event more
confident, inspired, and connected to the values of the Girl Scout movement. The event not only
