Story: The Lion Inside

A learning sequence

He can dance and he has many friends. He can roar.
WHO ELSE The mouse is tiny and meek. The elephant steps on him. The
zebra sits on him. He is invisible. He doesn’t have friends. He can’t roar. He
can squeak.

PROBLEM The mouse is tired and sad.

IDEA FOR SOLUTION One night he has an idea. ‘I want to have friends. I
want to be popular. I want to roar like the lion’.

PLAN So, the mouse reads and learns that the only teacher is the lion.

ACTION The mouse is afraid but he meets the lion. The lion is fast asleep.
He wakes up and shouts ‘eeeeeak’ because he is afraid of mice.

SURPRISE The mouse is very surprised. ‘I’m a friend’, says the mouse loud
and clear.

RESOLUTION The lion and the mouse are friends and they share the big
rock. The lion roars and laughs ha ha ha and the mouse speaks loud and
clear.

MORAL No matter your size. We all have a mouse and a lion inside.
