Course Overview
The comprehensive course on "IoT and Industrial Applications (AIIoT)" dives into the evolution
of industrialization, from the Industrial Revolution to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). It
starts with a historical overview, core IIoT concepts, and examines IoT drivers, benefits, and
challenges through real-world examples like Dam Water Level Monitoring and STP Monitoring.
Applications in sectors like Pharma, Electricity Distribution, and Energy Measurement are
explored, along with practical demonstrations on Machine Status, Edge Computing, Gateway
types, and configurations. The course covers IoT Connectivity, Wireless Protocols, and includes
an IIoT example with a Wheel Loader. Real-world applications include Automotive Component
Casting, Diesel Generator Monitoring, Aerospace Parts Manufacturing, and Bulk Milk Cooler
Monitoring. The course concludes with IIoT Security Concerns and a case study on an IoT
Connected Workplace Solution.
Join us to gain practical insights and hands-on experience in IIoT and prepare yourself for the
future of industrial automation.
