NOTE: If you are not an existing supplier portal user, you need to be invited to register first.
Contact your company Supplier Admin or submit a helpdesk ticket.
d. An email from [email protected] will be sent to the entered email address
with further instructions for password reset.
• Check your spam folders if you don’t receive an email.
• If you don’t receive an email after 5 minutes, submit a helpdesk ticket.
The link will expire after 12 hours. If it expires, you will need to repeat these steps and reset
password.
e. Click the link in the email. Enter your new password, per the policy requirements
below, then click the “Submit” Button.
f. Upon successful acceptance of your new password, navigate to the “My
Applications” section at the bottom of the page. Select the link for “UTAS Supplier
Portal”.
• If you get a “NOT REGISTERED” error message, close your browser, then
relaunch the browser and return to https://suppliers.utc.com.
• DO NOT use any of the links in the brown ribbon across the top of the page.
These will not work for suppliers.utc.com.
g. Once the password has been successfully reset, you will be directed to the supplier
portal login page.
Step 2: Decide which device you will use for Duo authentication.
Note: After successfully logging in to the supplier portal with your new password, the
following Duo prompts from Step 3 onwards will appear on your desktop/laptop/device
used for accessing the system.
Smartphone/Tablet: This is the preferred authentication method. Begin the installation
of the Duo application based on your operating system and proceed to Step 3. (NOTE:
Re-installation of the application is not required if you are already an active user of Duo.)
Landline: This authentication method supports users receiving a phone call to approve
login. SMS/text messages are not enabled for Duo. Refer to the Duo instructions: Cell
Phones & Landlines.
Security Key: Security keys should be the chosen method of authentication if a mobile
device, tablet, or landline is unavailable. There are some additional requirements when
using security keys. You should refer to the Duo Security Key instructions for further
information.
Suppliers are expected to source their own security keys. Security keys must be
WebAuthn/FIDO2 security keys. Duo best practices recommend the following:
If Duo was already installed, click the Accounts/Add button, then Use QR code.
NOTE: If you select the “Email me an activation link instead” option, enter an email address
that you can check on your mobile device. You will be sent a special link that you can click to
activate Duo Mobile.
A Duo prompt will be sent to you. You are now ready to verify your identity and log in to the
supplier portal.
Step 11: Duo registration without a mobile phone
You can register in Duo without a mobile phone. If this is the option you choose, steps 5-10
are not applicable. Follow the instructions on the screen after selecting Landline or Security
Key. You should refer to the Duo online guidance for registration assistance using a landline
or a security key.
Landline: The number you enter will be added to your Duo account.
Security Key: Follow the onscreen instructions on how to add the security key.
Refer to the Frequently Asked Questions documents or submit a supplier portal helpdesk
ticket if you need assistance.
