Job Description: PL/SQL Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic
team. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home while being
available for mandatory client visits as and when required. The ideal candidate will have
expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL scripts and solutions, along with
strong problem-solving and client interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. PL/SQL Development:

o Design, develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers,
functions, and packages.

o Optimize database queries and code for better performance and efficiency.

2. Requirement Analysis:

o Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze


business requirements.

o Translate requirements into technical solutions using PL/SQL and database


technologies.

3. Database Maintenance:

o Perform database tuning, indexing, and optimization for improved performance.

o Support database maintenance activities, including backup and recovery


processes.

4. Client Interaction:

o Conduct client visits as required to discuss requirements, resolve issues, or


provide updates on project progress.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and
clarity.

5. Testing and Documentation:

o Perform unit testing and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

o Maintain proper documentation for scripts, workflows, and database designs.

6. Support and Troubleshooting:

o Provide ongoing support for database-related issues and resolve any system
bugs or performance issues.

o Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration of database


solutions.
Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related


field.

• Experience:

o 2-3 years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development.

• Technical Skills:

o Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, Oracle databases, and database


design.

o Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.

o Familiarity with tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, or similar.

o Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes is a plus.

• Soft Skills:

o Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work independently and adapt to hybrid work arrangements.

Work Arrangement
