given by mother/ father/teacher or someone. So, one should understand the
importance of motivation to win their life.

motivators drive a person to achieve the goal.

us think, if we do not have a goal, in which direction we should move?
Types of goals
Goals are classified into three types:
1. Short-Term Goal
2. Long - Term Goal
3. Life Goal/Permanent Goal
Short –Term Goals
Every human being has all the three goals. Temporary goals stay for a short time.
They change frequently, sometimes every day, eg. Learning some answers on a
particular day, drawing some figure, preparation for a slip test. Temporary goals
are essential to achieve the long-term goals.
Long - Term Goals
To achieve long term goals we may take a few months to several years or even
decades, eg. To become an Engineer/Doctor, to establish a big business unit etc. A
long- term goal acts as a driving force to achieve short- term goals, and vice –
versa.
Life-Goal/Permanent Goal
We have five senses, - Eyes, Ears, Nose, Tongue and Skin. All Human beings use
these senses alike for some specific purpose, i.e., eyes to see, ears to hear etc. All
human beings are living due to heart beat and respiration. In such a case, why
goals vary from one to another? answer is ‘varying personality’. Personality influ-
ences the short term and long term goals only. We need sound health to our daily
work. To lead a happy life and to maintain sound health, one needs Peaceful life.
So, our life goal should be healthy and peaceful life. The short – term and long –
term goals should set, in such a way, that they should not disturb our healthy and peaceful
life. This must be the permanent goal for human beings. Whether the goal is a short
term or long term one should choose only a positive goal.

Emotion is an agitated or excited state of our mind and body. The twenty-first
century seems to be the most turbulent and chaotic for mankind. Much of the
student success will be determined by the effective understanding of Emotions
under conditions of extreme stress and change.
Our emotions play a quite a significant role in guiding and directing our behaviour.

than behaving as they want us to. On the other hand, if a person has no emotions
in him, then he becomes crippled in terms of living his life in a normal way. In
this way, emotions play a key role in providing a particular direction to our
behaviour and thus shaping our personality according to their development.
There are several negative effects on our career for eg., If you have high anger, it effects
your breathing, heart rate and blood circulation. More over heart problem may
occur at an early stage.

several mistakes in family life, ultimately bear disturbed life.

initiate the theme of cleanliness all through the India. This campaign was launched
in seeking the way to create a Clean India target by 2019, 2nd of October means
150th birthday anniversary of the Mahatma Gandhi.
Mahatma Gandhi was a great champion of cleanliness. He was very much concerned
about the dirty roads, street and temples. He took upon himself to motivate and
personally commit towards making the country filth free. As early as 4th February
1916, while addressing a gathering at the inauguration function of Banaras Hindu
University, Gandhi ji spoke about the importance of cleanliness and expressed his
pain and anguish about the dirt and filth all around.
The campaign of clean India movement is the biggest step taken ever as a
cleanliness drive till date. The event was organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 2nd
of October in 2014. This event was flagged off by the Indian President, Pranab
Mukherjee.

Water conservation
Water is the elixir of life. We can live a few months without
food but we cannot live even for a few days without water.
Plants also need water for survival. If there are no plants on
earth, carbondi-oxide levels will increase, temperatures
increase and ecological imbalance takes place.
Humans neglected the water resources for decades. As such
water table falls hundreds of feet below the ground
surface. So, our prime objective should be water
conservation.
Keeping in view, that water and plants influence on human life,
Andhra Pradesh Government has started Neeru-Chettu
program. Similarly Government planned interlinking of
rivers. The Godavari river is linked to the Krishna and now
there is a proposal to link the Krishna with Penna River.
Geologists classified the earth’s subsurface into two zones 1.
Zone of Aeration and 2) Zone of saturation. Zone of
Aeration extends from ground surface down to the
water table. Here, pores are filled partially with air and
partially with water. The Zone below the water table is
Zone of saturation. In this zone pores are fully filled with
water.
Water storing bed is called “Aquifer”. From this we can get
sufficient quantities of water into the wells. We can also
store water by recharging this bed. At present AP
Government designed and implementing plans to store water
in such beds.
We can store water in reservoirs, tanks, ponds and canals. It
is called surface water. If water is stored beneath the earth
surface, called ground water. We should conserve both
sources and utilize judiciously.
